Drowning is one of the top 5 causes of death for people aged 1-14 years for over half the countries in the world. In the US less, the annual average of drowning deaths is 10 a day, and 50% of the population don’t know how to swim or have an understanding of basic water safety. 88% of drownings are preventable, with proper water safety instruction and swim lessons. The World’s Largest Swim Lesson annual event has been helping to turn the tide on those statistic, for the last 10 year. You can too, by helping to spread the word and learning to swim!
